Pico Park is a cooperative action-puzzle game for 2-8 players. The point of the game is to collect a key and unlock the door at the end of the level. Players are encouraged to work together, but where’s the fun in that? You can also choose chaos and sabotage your teammates by blocking their movements or preventing them from moving altogether.
The game contains 12 sets with 4 levels in each set. Each of the sets focus on a different mechanic of the game. For example, set two (Go Together) ties all players together with a rope. Set seven (Move and Stop) uses mechanics similar to red light, green light. There is also a battle mode that pits players against one another in 4 different games: Height Battle, Region Battle, Jump Battle, and Stopwatch Battle. Content Warning bears many similarities to games like Lethal Company and Phasmobia in which players must work together to explore haunted areas and find collectibles. In Content Warning, players must record content for their Spooktube channel in order to gain views and go viral. The scarier the content, the more ad revenue you get, and the better equipment you can buy.
Similar to Lethal Company, you must hit a view quota by the end of three in-game days. Failure to meet this quota results in a game over and the loss of all equipment and money, so make sure your content is top notch! Content Warning puts a fun spin on cooperative horror and is truly one of the best multiplayer games on Steam!

It Takes Two follows the story of Cory and May, a married couple thinking of divorcing. Their daughter, Rose, breaks down after hearing the news and cries over her hand-made dolls bearing an uncanny resemblance to her parents. Somehow, Cory and May become transported into the body of the dolls and must find their way back to Rose while simultaneously mending their broken relationship along the way.
The game is specifically designed to be played as a split-screen co-op game, and has no single-player mode. In fact, Steam offers a Friend Pass that is completely free to download—so only one person has to purchase the game in order to play. Throughout the game, a variety of different mechanics from a wide range of video game genres. To make it to the end, you’ll need to figure out a way to use each mechanic together and make the best of them! Dead by Daylight is a one versus four horror game in which you either play as a survivor or the killer. As a survivor, players must find and repair five generators in order to power up an exit gate. As the killer, you’ll need to hunt down the survivors and sacrifice them to appease a force known as the Entity. In order to capture survivors, the killer must strike the survivor twice—once to injure them, and a second to knock them to the ground. The killer then picks up the incapacitated survivor and finds the nearest meathook.
Survivors are working together to escape the killer and have chances to rescue their fallen comrades if they’re willing to risk their lives in the process. While the killer is off hunting the others, you could rush over to your meathook-ed teammate and pull them from impalement—but act quick! The game has a few interesting mechanics that keep the four versus one more even. For example, if a survivor fails a skill check, the killer can see an outline of where the failure occurred, leading them straight to the one who failed it. Wildermyth wraps up our list as a tactical turn-based role-playing game in which players select a hero from a randomized character list and build their lowly warriors into battle-hardened heroes. As you defeat more creatures and move through the game, your hero will acquire new traits and affect the story with each selection you make.
While typically a single-player experience, Wildermyth also contains a cooperative multiplayer mode in which players can get together with friends and combine hero units. Each player maintains control over their own unit, but works together to defeat enemies and level up, making it the perfect final edition to our list.
